We had a wonderful meeting today with an amazing guest speaker.
Elaine Litster is a Simi Valley City Councilmember, she is also the co-owner of SAFEChecks, founded in 1996. SAFEChecks is a manufacturer of high secure check stock, specializing in check fraud solutions for municipalities, corporations, and individuals.
Elaine has a Master’s degree in Urban Planning with an emphasis in Social Policy Analysis from UCLA. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brigham Young University.
Elaine and her husband, Greg, and their five children moved to Simi Valley over a decade ago seeking a safe, secure, nurturing environment.
On top of that she currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the American Harp Society (AHS), a 50-year-old international association of over 3,000 harpists.
